Brain & Spine conference 2022 website

The website for the Brain & Spine Conference 2022, an international neurosurgery conference hosted by ADK Hospital. Mariyan Riyaza, the hospital's Marketing Manager, led the design; I built it.

A conference site has a short, sharp job: tell people what is happening and take their registration before the date. This one carried the pre-conference workshops, the live surgery, the scientific sessions, the guidelines and the keynote speakers — and handled online registration and payment for doctors, students and residents, each on different rates.

It is built in Vue.js on open-source libraries. Registration and payment being on the site rather than an email thread is the part that mattered: attendees were travelling in from outside the Maldives, and a form that works at 2am in another timezone is worth more than one the office has to process.
